A night at California Adventure

One night last week, we decided to go to California Adventure to watch the Pixar Play Parade! If you haven't seen it yet...it's so much fun! But be prepared to get wet! Matthew had a lot fun!

He had a blast...loved the water and bubbles!



I took these pictures of Matthew and Scott playing in line while we waited to get on the new ride, Woody's Round Up...our new favorite ride!!!! They have such a cute and silly relationship!

Where is the fall?!?!?!

I'm so sick of this heat...it's the middle of October and it's going to be 94 degrees today! Urg! Fall is my favorite time of year and I'm not even getting one! This is why fall is my favorite time of year:


This picture makes me homesick...this is down the street from my parents and where I grew up! I need all the seasons and I am sooooo missing it today!

Cereal and Milk

This morning, Matthew had milk in his cereal for the first time. It was always easier just to give him the cereal dry and I wasn't sure if he would like it with milk because Scott doesn't (he's weird...I know!!) He actually did really well with it and he loves it!






He even drank the milk from the bowl when he was done! I didn't even tell him to do that, but he must have watched me do it!

Happy Birthday Sara!

Matthew's cousin, Sara turned one last week and Matthew and I went to a birthday party for her the other day! It was a lot of fun to see Ben and Leslie and their family! We don't see them enough and miss them a lot! Thanks for having a party down here so we could all celebrate Sara!

Leslie had this adorable doll birthday cake, but Sara was a little scared of it! She did enjoy a cupcake though!


Matthew really enjoyed his cupcake! :)



Matthew has fun doing just about anything with a bat, but he really enjoyed this! He didn't want to give the bat up!


Matthew and Sara just chillin' on the swings! It was cute to see them giggling with each other...when Sara starts walking, these two will be good buddies!

Our date to Disneyland

Yesterday, Scott and I went on a date! Wahoo! We are so grateful to Madison who watched Matthew all afternoon yesterday so that we could go on a date! We decided that we would only go on the rides that Matthew can't go on. Which basically meant all roller coasters and rides that cause motion sickness! And boy am I paying the price! It's been a long time since I have done that and I am so sick...even today! After we got home last night, I spent the evening in bed so sick and I am still sick today! I think my body might be getting to old for this stuff...and I'm not even that old! We still had fun though! Scott always seems to know right where the camera is...or does he do this the entire ride?!?! :)

Happy Birthday Grammy!!!

Today is my mom's birthday!!!! She's the best mom anyone could ask for! She's also one of my best friends! I don't know what I would do without her! We miss her so much and wish that we could spend the day with her, but unfortunately, this is the best we could do...

Matthew at Preschool

I signed Matthew and I up for this Mommy and me Preschool this fall and Matthew LOVES it! He is such a social little boy and loves to play with other kids! (He really misses having Emma around!) Plus they have toys that we don't have at home! Yesterday I finally got some pictures of him.



Man...he such a stud! I love this kid sooooo much!


All ready to go! My mom got him this cute backpack and he loves to wear it! He was excited to put his projects in it! :)



Matthew loves puzzles! And he's very good at them! I was surprised at how quickly he finished this one!


Oh yeah...snack time! Matthew had never had juice until preschool! The first day he spilled all down his shirt, but now he's getting the hang of it!

Okay, so he cheated a little, but he does actually shoot it!

It amazes me how much he has learned and how quickly he learns it! I just fall more and more in love with him everyday!
