Kaitlyn and her baby

When I was Kaitlyn's age, I had this little baby doll that I carried and took everywhere. My mom told me that once I dropped it while we were on a walk and she had to retrace her steps to find it because I was heartbroken. When Matthew was a baby, she found the exact same one and bought it. My dad says he thinks it's even wearing the same outfit. Well Kaitlyn is just as attached to it as I was. She always has her sweet little hand wrapped around it. She takes it everywhere. When we say, "where's your baby?", she'll look down at her hand and if she's not holding it, she start looking everywhere for it. When she sees it for the first time in the morning, it's like reuniting long-lost friends! I absolutely love it! Yesterday morning, she was nursing and caught a glimpse of her baby's tiny hand that was behind me, so she excitedly grabbed it and went back to eating. This morning when I asked her where her baby was, she looked in the same spot where it was yesterday and looked confused when it wasn't there! :) She does everything with it in her little hand...it's so sweet!
